This is our recommended kit for LS swapping your Discovery 2. This kit allows you to put a Gen 3 truck LS in front of a Land Rover 4HP22 or 4HP24 transmission. It includes nearly every custom part you need to get the swap done, plus wiring harness and PCM. Included:

LS to 4HP Adapter:

  • Precision machined bell housing adapter 
  • Precision machined crankshaft adapter
  • Brand new PowerMaster starter
  • PRW SFI extra thick flex plate
  • PRW Flexplate bolts
  • Class 10.9 Bellhousing bolts

Excellent!

I used this in my non-LS manual transmission swap running the Holley Sniper 2 and used the tach output from that to drive the board with 4 pulses per revolution. Running the board allows the BCU to know the engine is running and allows the defrost and other features to be used. ( only downside is the check engine light will be on for the Holley EFI, as the factory computer doesn’t see any other inputs but the CKP signal. ) Will wire in the TPS and hopefully will be able to use things like HDC,etc will be available too.
