This board has been tested with LS swapped Discovery 2 vehicles using a Gen 3 LS (e.g. LM7, LM4, L33...) and retaining the stock 4-speed ZF transmission. NOT for Gen 4 and 6L80 transmissions.

It takes the tachometer signal from the GM computer as input, and outputs a Rover 58x CKP signal.

For vehicles swapped using the ACE kit, this board replaces the flaky rover crankshaft position sensor and reluctor wheel located behind the harmonic balancer. This board also converts the Rover VSS signal to the GM VSS signal, fully replacing the ACE kit's black box.

Vehicle Fit

Tested with LS Swapped 1999-2004 Discovery 2 running a GM Gen 3 LS.

Might also work with Discovery 1, Range Rover Classic, and P38 Range Rover.

Might also work with Gen 4 LS.

Excellent!

I used this in my non-LS manual transmission swap running the Holley Sniper 2 and used the tach output from that to drive the board with 4 pulses per revolution. Running the board allows the BCU to know the engine is running and allows the defrost and other features to be used. ( only downside is the check engine light will be on for the Holley EFI, as the factory computer doesn’t see any other inputs but the CKP signal. ) Will wire in the TPS and hopefully will be able to use things like HDC,etc will be available too.
