4HP Transmission Adapter

A precision CNC machined bellhousing adapter plate, and hardened chromoly steel crankshaft adapter. Starter and Flexplate included, plus all necessary class 10.9 hardware.

Engine Mounts

Laser cut, bent, welded and finished in the USA. These beefy engine mounts are made of 1/4" steel with polyurethane bushings. A88 shore hardness for a vibration-free driving experience.

Alternator Bracket

Our alternator bracket allows you to use a GM alternator. This allows the use of an upgraded aftermarket alternator. The bracket comes complete with heavy duty tensioner and idler pulley.

AC and Powersteering Bracket

Our AC/Powersteering bracket allows you to keep the Rover's AC compressor. No need to mess with AC lines!

It uses a corvette power steering pump, which is a direct fit for the Rover's power steering lines.

When purchased together with the alternator bracket, the belt is included.

Custom Intake Box

We provide a custom made air intake box that allows you to use a 4" intake hose. The box is a very high quality 3D print using annealed PPA-CF for extreme heat resistance.

Intake Tubing

We provide an intake tubing kit, so you don't have to waste time and money chasing down the right combination.

FAQ's

Check out the Full Install Instructions Here

We also have a step-by-step youtube install series here

You can also join our Facebook Support Group and see how other LS swappers are doing.

You can look at all the products and prices here. The full complete kit is $3400. That includes the transmission adapter, engine mounts, signal converter, accessory mounts, all hardware, intake tubing, custom air box lid, and other details.

You will have to purchase your own engine and accessories, as well as some specific aftermarket parts (exhaust manifold, oil pan, hoses and fittings). These parts are called out in our instructions. For an all-in cost estimate, take a look at our full cost spreadsheet.

You will have to purchase your own engine and accessories, as well as some specific aftermarket parts (exhaust manifold, oil pan, hoses and fittings). These parts are called out in our instructions.

For a detailed breakdown, see our Engine Selection Guide.

This kit is compatible with 4.8L or 5.3L Gen3 LS-based Vortec truck engines. (LM7, LM4, L33, L59, LR4).

These engines are found in vehicles such as the Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Express, Avalanche, GMC Sierra, Yukon, Envoy XL etc. From 1999 to 2007 (depending on model).

The 6.0L and larger engines are not recommended. Our kit retains the factory ZF 4HP transmission, and these large engines have too much torque for the transmission to handle.

Gen4 LS engines should bolt up, but they have not been tested. If you are interested in trying a Gen4 engine, contact us first. We would be happy to support you, because we want to support the Gen 4 engines officially! But know that you are entering somewhat uncharted territory and you may have to figure out some of your own solutions.

Our kit retains the original ZF 4HP transmission your rover came with. It makes the swap very straightforward, and keeps all factory functions operational.

You may only gain about 2 MPG with a stock LS swap. However, you can use regular gasoline (87 octane)!

Our accessory mounts allow you to use a GM alternator, GM Type II powersteering, and the original Rover AC compressor.

Currently we don't have a solution to keep the ACE pump (active cornering enhancement).

This means you can get a nice upgrade in alternator and power steering, but you don't have to mess with AC lines at all.

No! Our kit mounts the engine high and far from the axle, so there is no risk of collision. Even for stock height vehicles.

Yes! All the parts from the complete kit are available for sale individually. If there is a part you want that is not individually sold on the website, you can contact us to order it.

Yes! If you already have an engine swap using the ACE kit, or with a GM transmission, some of our parts will be useful to you.

Our accessory mounts allow you to use a GM alternator, GM Type II powersteering, and the original Rover AC compressor. They will work with any LS swap, as long as it is a truck engine (-3 pulley offset).

Our signal conversion board is useful for those with the ACE kit, because it eliminates the finnicky rover crankshaft position sensor and reluctor wheel.

Our Engine Mounts place the engine higher and avoid oil pan to axle collision.

We are happy to help with emissions related questions, however it is your responsibility to research the emissions requirements in your area before purchasing a kit.

Take a look at our emissions guide here.

At this time, these vehicles are NOT SUPPORTED.

There could be similarities, but there are also many differences. We will support these vehicles in the future as soon as we are able.

Yes, we are aware of the most common Land Rover engine swaps (BMW M57, Cummins r2.8, Ford Ecoboost, and more). At this time we are focused on LS-based engines only.
