This kit replaces your engine clutch fan with two high performance puller fans from SPAL. The gold standard in electric fans. Direct fit for the Discovery 2 radiator. Great for LS swaps too.

Featuring two powerful fans from SPAL, our kit delivers unparalleled performance. Even when your vehicle is idle at a stop, these two fans run as full blast and keep the engine cool. Bonus: you will regain some horsepower too!

SPAL is widely considered the gold standard of automotive cooling. We are proud to include two of their best performing fans, a high quality dual-speed fan relay kit, and a custom fan shroud. It is a direct fit to the stock Discovery 2 Radiator.

Installation is easy, and only requires a wire crimper tool.

What's Included:

Your choice of fans:

  • 2x SPAL 30102038 high performance fans pulling 3280 CFM at 30A combined. Ideal for daily drivers, moderate off road builds, and temperate climates.
  • 2x SPAL 30103202 extreme performance fans pulling 3740 CFM at 50A combined. For heavy built-out vehicles, tough vertical climbs, and extreme ambient temperatures. Alternator upgrade recommended.

Everything else:

  • Custom Shroud to fit the D2's radiator
  • Relay kit
  • 170F and 190F temperature sensors with hose adapter
  • Hardware, wire crimps, etc.

Alternator upgrade is recommended for the 3740 CFM kit. The stock Discovery 2 alternator is rated 130A. We recommend the 150A P38 alternator for an easy bolt-on upgrade.

Great upgrade

Installation was straightforward and well documented with video as guide. I would recommend and buy again if needed.

Pruchased both this kit and the AC condenser fan upgrade.

I purchased both the AC condenser fan set and the dual electric radiator fan set. They work amazingly well. During the install I found out the original condenser was rotted out so I replaced it as well. My aircon is actually cold now. It is amazing, almost like new car AC performance. I have a black 2001 SE7 with the rear AC and I live in Oklahoma with 110 degree external temps. Air vent output is in the 40 degree range. Install difficulty? Not too bad, I recommend using blue locktite on the bolts due to the high vibration location. Took about 4 hours in total including the condenser swap and both kits. I have not noticed the need to upgrade to the 150 amp RR alternator, my battery is holding decent voltage with extensive usage of the kits.

Hey there was going to buy the 3280 cfm but notice the options for a bypass flaps what is this exactly?

The bypass flaps are rubber flaps on the fan shroud that allow extra air to pass if the airflow from the highway exceeds the airflow from the fans. The bypass flaps are useful if you overheat at highway speeds, but make no difference at idle or slow speeds.
