Broken tabs are a common issue plaguing many D1 and D2 center consoles. Finally, a solution. Don't bother buying a new center console that will break again or using epoxy. This solution will outlast them all.
This piece of metal installs behind where your tabs are (or used to be). It has 4 threaded holes and comes with 4 screws so you can fasten your switches securely to your console.

Love the kit, very clever in its implementation. Was perfect fix for me to stop the window switch panel disappearing into the center console every time I want to open a window! Worth noting that this works for Left and Right hand drive (hand brake switches sides of console). Justbe careful not to drop the clips!
